The aim of this recruitment is to strengthen the “Multiscale” team with a Research Fellow (chargé de recherche) with a good background in mechanics and skills in numerical simulation and/or image processing. He/She will develop a research activity at the interface between experimental methodologies strongly relying on imaging techniques and the mechanical modeling of heterogeneous materials. This enriched dialogue between experiments and models will aim to understand the phenomena governing the properties of materials, to identify and validate physically-based constitutive relations, and possibly to propose ways to improve properties of materials. The Research Fellow will appropriately interact with the researchers of the team and the lab to benefit from their complementary experimental or numerical skills.
